It all started with a lack of proper planning, a fast and furious comment or two, some misinformation regarding frogs, a theoretical bank heist with lemonade, a few John Wick references involving pencils, and of course a dragon. It’s kind of a long story. Names have been changed to protect the innocent, so here’s a few highlights.

There were several long walks around town and in the park. Trails were scouted, cliffs were climbed, chai lattes were drank, and a few cupcakes may have disappeared. Along the way, stories were traded, hopes and dreams discussed, and future goals and projects hammered out.

Lots of office door decorations occurred. Several of them threatened (allegedly) someone’s well being with pencils. Some decorations celebrated the holidays, some were (allegedly) just to terrorize the occupant.

Finally a custom ring was designed and a frog was found to carry the precious piece. The big day had come. During a trip to the St. Louis Botanical Gardens Robert asked Donna to marry him.

She said yes! A WoW report followed. It scored the day. Now the days are counting down until the happy couple says “I do” in front of their friends and family (Hey, that’s you!). But fear not, the story doesn’t end here, it continues on October 7, 2023.

The bride and groom are planning their big day to exchange their vows and start a new life together as husband and wife.
